Member of the advisory board of the Andrology section of the Hellenic Urology Association

Dr. Petros Drettas graduated from the Medical School of the University of Athens 1995. He completed his Urology Specialty in the Urology Clinic of the Red Cross General Hospital in Athens in 2002.

The fields of his main interest are andrology – erectile dysfunction, male subfertility and prosthetic urology and reconstructive surgery of external genitalia

After receiving his title as a Urologist, he specialized in prosthetic urology receiving an internship from Crawford Memorial Hospital at Fort-Smith Arkansas – U.S.A under professor Steven Wilson. Following this, he started to work at the Andrology Institute in Athens, Greece, under Dr. Kostas Konstantinidis till 2012 being medical director till his resignation.

Dr. Petros Drettas participated in workshops and training programs in the fields of his main interests:

  • St. Peter’s State of the Art in Urology, UCLH, London, UK
  • Practical course of Urology St. Rafaelle Hospital Milano Italy, Prof. Francesco Montorsi
  • Green Light Laser Prostatectomy King’s College Hospital, London, UK
  • Fellowship Tubingen University Clinic, Tubingen, Germany.

In 2006 he founded the Andrology Center in Piraeus, Greece.

He is active member of the ESSM , ISSM, EUA and HUA. Currently he is member of the advisory board of the Andrology section of the Hellenic Urology Association.

Dr. Petros Drettas is a Member of the Médecins du Monde.
